What does FIV+ mean?

FIV-positive cats have lower immunity than others. Regular vet checkups are a must for them to make sure that health issues don't suddenly crop up. 

Their lifespans can be a little less than a normal cat. Common health issues are mouth infections, and in most, kidney failure towards the end of life. It is important to keep them on a healthy diet and lifestyle.
