Why does it say I have to adopt two kittens?

We believe it is essential for young kittens' development to have a playmate. 

From our experience (and scientific research), kittens who do not have playmates are much more likely to become biters or not use the litterbox as adults. They also annoy most older cats, who can become stressed.

There are rare exceptions:

— If the kitten has a medical condition where he/she cannot mix with other cats.

— If the kitten is very aggressive to other cats.
